A few comments to explain the intent behind the associated software are appropriate. The three products are rather similar. The first two run on a PC and the last on a Windows NT Server. Simplicity is the key to all these offerings. The user points and clicks with a PC browser to data mine either databases or reports.
Enterprise Edition: Blue Data Miner Enterprise Edition runs on a Windows NT Server and can serve an entire organization. The software suite is 100% intranet/Internet oriented and is in effect an Enterprise Reporting and Analysis tool, often referred to as the ERA. The ERA is powerful, highly intuitive, and very easy-to-learn. Because users need only a browser and carry out their analyses by pointing and clicking, they learn how to use ERA very quickly. Also provided with the Enterprise Edition is Statements Online. It lets customers and employees view invoices or statements over an intranet/Internet. Statements Online can, for example, assist the Customer Service department in improving its performance level in servicing customers.
